Create a survey
Create an empty survey, give it a title and a language, then add questions.
What it is for
Start a survey from scratch, without a template.
Prerequisites and plan
Be signed in. A draft does not count toward the active survey limit.
Steps
- In “Surveys”, fill in “Survey title” and choose the “Language” (French, English, Spanish: the language of the public page).
- Click “Create survey”: the “Questions” tab opens.
- In “Information”, add a description and a thank-you message, then “Save information”.
- Click “Add a question” to build the questionnaire.
Expected result
A survey in Draft status is created; nobody can see it until it is published.
Tips
- A clear title and a short description increase the response rate.
- Maximum of 200 questions per survey; aim for fewer than 15 for a good completion rate.
Common problems
- “Enter the survey title.”
- The title is required (200 characters at most).
